  • Same problem here. Image gets uploaded and processed though.

    Plugin version: 1.7.2
    WP version: 4.5.1

Deactivating the plugin solves the issue, so something is causing a problem.

    Hi,

An HTTP error is shown when the plugin can’t use our compression service to compress your images. This can be for various reasons. Therefore, it would be handy to get some further information.

Do you get HTTP errors for every image you upload, or only for specific images? Do you get it immediately after uploading a new image, or is it after a certain time period?

I’ve been getting these errors on and off, and it’s really a waste of time to have to reupload the images. They usually happen a while after the images are uploaded, and its random which images are affected.

Thanks for your feedback! We are working on the stability of our WordPress plugin and are preparing an update that will be released somewhere in the coming month. This should also address these issues.

That’s great! Hope you can ensure continued compatibility with the Easy Watermarks plugin – right now when I upload images, the Easy Watermarks plugin watermarks the images, and the TinyPNG plugin compresses it after, in the correct order.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reporting the issue!

We’ve had similar reports, but are still trying to reproduce the issue in our test environment. Could you send us the output of your PHP info to support@tinypng.com?

You can use the following plugin for this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/
