.htaccess issue
-
Hi i made some updates to my work website today and got a HTTP Error 505.
I then did some research online which informed me that the issue was with the .htaccess file.
By good luck i had a buckup of the file which i then uploaded onto the server.
This solved the initial 505 error but now the site looks like a dogs dinner (www.macgen.co.uk) its as if the style sheets have gone missing. But i have checked all links and everything looks fine.
Just a little background i initially changed the url in the wordpress admin to point to http://www.macgen.co.uk/home. Meaning that once someone typed i macgen.co.uk they were redirected to macgen.co.uk/home.
The .home also appeared on the old .htaccess file but i removed it and the site is as u see it now.
I cant even log into the control panel to remove the /home which i think is the cause of the problem.
Has anyone any ideas how to resolve the issues or my heads on the chopping block tomorrow!!!
Thanks!
