• I am having some issues when activating custom permalinks of WP. Everytime I do that and the .htaccess file is created, other scripts and services that I haev installed in my site, appear to be affected by the new set of rules.

For example, I have installed a php form generator and when I activate the permalinks in WP and the rules added to the .htaccess file, my php form generator goes berserk and images top showing, links stop working, etc…

If I delete the WP rules from the .htaccess file, my php forms comes back to life but my WP posts stop working.

    Is there a workaround this?

  • I don’t know how your WordPress is installed, but one way to prevent conflicts is to install WordPress in its own directory (not in the root directory).
