I’m trying to get two drop down menu boxes on my product page — one for size and one for color. But when I import from square, woocommerce seems to be combining the two into one dropdown. I believe square is configured properly with variations and options…I feel like the import if just putting the variations in the wrong area.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there @rossching,

Square doesn’t support multiple attributes. Can you please advise where did you set them up?

It is expected, however, that when you have WooCommerce as your System of Record and your products have multiple attributes, those products won’t sync to Square:

https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6689-item-options. see at about 1:30 in the video you can do two drop down dialogs to pick say, 32 waist and 34″ inseam. I’m using Square as my system of record though because my physical retail space uses square. I just thought I’d be nice to have the user choose the size and then choose the color rather than have 1 dropdown of every permutation possible.

    Hi there @rossching,

    Thank you for clarifying!

Our extension doesn’t support Square options. It uses Square variations to create WooCommerce variations and those can have only one attribute.

It would be great to have you add this feature request to our Ideas Board (http://ideas.woocommerce.com/forums/133476-woocommerce), which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

Enjoy the rest of your day and stay safe!
