How to make a regular theme widget-ready?

I’m trying to make a non-widgetized theme widget-ready. Here’s the theme that I’m using:

I tried reading about it here:

but its not clear for me. I don’t get it. Can anybody help me with this?

It would be appreciated if any of you guys can widgetize it for me.
