how to insert html in snippet

    i’ve been trying to insert html tags in snippets edited in the “Manage Snippets” tab, like <span class="someclass">text</span>, but the html seems to be stripped out in output of shortcodes in templates using <?php echo do_shortcode('[shortcodename]'); ?>

    is there a solution? thanks!

    There are a few plugins available that make it easy to add HTML snippets as a “short code.”
