How to import?

    Hi,

    I already looked at ContactForm 7 FAQ, but it doesn’t clarify importing: If I import the XML file (Tools>import) – wouldn’t that overwrite my XML file, even though I just exported contact form 7?

    All the information for your website (settings/posts) is stored in the MYSQL database. Take a backup of the database first as a precaution, and then import the XML file with the form(s) data using Tools>Import, which is the standard approach: https://contactform7.com/faq/how-can-i-export-import-contact-form-data/

    Or, just manually copy over the FORM and MAIL configuration to the new form by copy and paste.
