• In the process of having a blog transfered to my hosting, there seems to been an error in the process and the blog no longer works or is accessible (I think the blog destination url was changed incorrectly or something).

In any case, i’ve installed WP on my server and am setting up the blog there.

Question is – is there a way that i can retrieve the old posts from the old (disabled) blog?

Is there a way to get access to them (even if i have to copy/paste them manually in the new blog).

Where are these files kept? In the database? And if yes, would having that person send me an export of the database allow me to get the posts?

would hate to lose all of those posts…

    Thanks!

    following up a bit…

I’ve read up a bit and found out, of course, the posts are in the database. (should have figured)

If i can get my hands on the export from phpmyadmin of the old blog’s database, is it as simple as importing into the new database?

Does it change any settings (especially with the config file?)

    thanks again….
