How to change category widgets?

    I’ve recently started a WordPress blog to showcase writing I’ve done over the past few years. I have my stuff in two different categories. One category is film and book reviews and articles and the other category is for a novella, “Adventures in Telemarketing”.Okay, so far I am using two category widgets. I would like to be able to seperate the categories so that one widget only points to one category. I hope this makes sense!

    Istere a way I can do this? I ave downloaded several menu widgerts but, tbh, I’m not sure how to use them.

    Also, is there an easy way I can change the color and font of the text on the widgets?
    Any help would be appreciated!

    is your website is set up on WordPress.com or is your website set up using a webhosting company?
