How do I verify the plugin is working?

    Hi all, I have just installed the plugin and run a backup, and see a bunch of zip files which seem to contain the data.

    However I have read several times that I should verify the backup is good.

    How do I verify this? I don’t know how to verify. I’ve searched here for verify and haven’t found much.

    Hi,

    If you are able to open/unpack the backup files without an error, then it is most certain that the backups are sound. UpdraftPlus will also display any errors from the latest backup in the Current Status tab.
