    Hi there, I would like to use your plugin to create an hourly backup of the css file in my child theme. Is there any way to do this apart from adding a schedule and excluding everything except the style.css?

    I started to do this, and then I realised that because it has to load each time the exclude button is pressed, that this would take a while – especially if I wanted to implement it on all my sites.

    This would be a cool feature =)

    Cheers!

    Hi, I already have your BUWP installed on about 10 wordpress sites, it’s such a great plugin.

    I’m continually making changes to the css, tinkering away, it would be really great to have a regular scheduled backup of the css file – does the premium version of BackUpWordPress have this feature? Hang on, is there a pro version, I just had a bit of a hunt around but couldn’t find it.

    These would both be great features!

    Thanks =)

    Hey there –

    So I think the best option is to do exactly what you said before – exclude everything but the stylesheet you edit – and set that up as one schedule that runs automatically – and you can have it run hourly if you want, keeping the number of them you need.

    It will be extra processing time because of all the excluded files, but I think that would be countered by the fact that it’s just one file. They will be working on how the plugin handles exclusions in an upcoming release, though, and you bring up a good note to add to that discussion. I’ll let you know what we find out, okay?

    Hi Kat, thanks for your reply.

    It would really be great if you could bulk exclude rather than one at a time, because each exclude takes a while to process. This will be awesome for css backups.

    I look forward to hearing back and super big congrats on the new version btw. Keep up the good work Human Made!

    They are working on ways to bulk exclude, or at least exclude easier. So hopefully that will be coming to an update near you soon 😀

    Thanks for sticking with us!
