EDIT2: I tried to create a temporary fix. It seems like the only problem is the French homepage (second language).

Hi!
If your current install “remembers” the development domain, try to resave Polylang settings (the home urls are cached by Polylang and resaving settings clears the cache).
Chouby! Thanks for your reply!
I tried resaving but the problem is still there.. any other suggestions?
Thanks!!

Please check that you have the correct site url and home url in Settings->General as it looks like you still have nomotbe.isgereed.nl there.
Also you should fix these points:
Translate your page home_fr in Dutch
Then define your home_fr as your static front page in Settings->reading
Hi Chouby,
We’re working with Multisites and this is one of them. Could that be the problem? The domain is still nomotbe.isgereed.nl but that’s not a problem for any of my other sites.
I linked both the homepages from both languages (/home/ and /home-fr/) and set the Dutch version (/home/) as my static homepage.
Somehow I still get the infinite loop error on both homepages π
Any other suggestions?

Multisite + a domain mapping plugin ?
I tried in another browser. It seems like the Dutch homepage (http://www.nomot.be/) seems to work, but when I try to switch to the French version (http://www.nomot.be/home-fr/) gives an error (The page isn’t redirecting properly). It seems to redirect to http://nomotbe.isgereed.nl/home-fr/ bu I have no idea why π
The settings for domain mapping are the same as my other sites in the multisite.

I tested only WordPress MU Domain Mapping
Are you using this one?
Yes I am using the exact same one!
What settings do you think I should change? Or where do you think I should change the domain?

I believe that the key option is to disable primary domain check.
I’ve got same problem in non-multisite wordpress with 3 languages set. And it occurs only on mobile devices. Without polylang activated, site works well.

Chouby, is there a workaround for the primary domein check? I need to use the primary domein check for my other sites in my multi-site installation..

is there a workaround for the primary domein check?
No. Primary domain check means that the domain mapping plugin associates one unique domain to one blog. Every other domain pointing to the same blog will be redirected to the primary domain. This conflict with Polylang which associates several domains (one per language) to one blog.
I need to use the primary domein check for my other sites in my multi-site installation
In that case, I guess that you would need make a custom plugin to filter the relevant domain mapping option and make an exception for the blog running Polylang.

Please open a new topic not ot pollute this one.
Hi Chouby!
I come bearing great news! My colleague was going to try and create a custom plugin to filter the domain mapping, but somehow everything seems to be working now?
There was a field in the database with a double // at the end, maybe fixing that was the solution?
Anyway; things seem to work fine now! I want to thank you again for all your replies the last couple of days/weeks. I wish you all the best π You’re a great guy! Keep up the good work!
Cheers!
Hi!
I have exactly the same problem.
As cartel_martijn mentionned, the problem arose a few days ago and then everything worked again and I don’t know why.
Now the problem arises again and I don’t know what to do.
Is this really true that Polylang is NOT compatible with a Multisite Network (+ Domain Mapping) solution?
If I turn off primary domain check, then other domains simply get redirected and that is not what I want.
Any help would be great.
