Hey,
I’m seeing content on the homepage. Did you fix this?

It’s kind of weird…when I set it to latest posts it will show just the posts without the ad…when I place it on page content the page is completely blank…and when I enable page content above the latest posts…it shows the ad at the top and the latest posts below just as it appears now…
I was hoping to have the page content show so I can have the pagination at the bottom…but no posts show up when I just enable page content.
Ok, so in Settings > Reading you have your front page set as your latest post page, correct? This means that your latest posts will display on the front page with pagination as long as Page Content is enabled in the homepage layout manager (Theme Options > Home Layout). Right now it looks like you have Latest Blog Posts enabled which is different than latest post (page content). Does this make sense?

No, right now in reading I have static page selected and Home set as the front page…

I want to make sure I have my ads on the home page, so that’s why I have it set to static with home as the front page.
You can’t set your front page as both a static page and a latest post page. Are you able to add your ad as a widget and use the home widget area?

i tried that, and it didn’t work.
Not sure that there’s another option, sorry. In order to have the pagination on the homepage you need to set it as a latest post page.

How are you adding the ad? Does it work for you to add it to a visual editor widget in your sidebar?

in the ad plugin, I set it show up on all pages at the top…it wouldn’t work when I placed it in the page editor…
I would suggest getting a better add plugin that allows you to add ads through the sidebar. Else you can always code in a custom page using a child theme.

Thanks.
