    Hi

I saw someone had a good solution on their website on sorting/filtering the search results on tablepress. You can see it here: http://www.dance.fi

I would like to have something similar but I can’t wrap my head around what extension was used.

Basically I’d like to have drop down filtering box and also check boxes. For example if I make a schedule and visitor chooses Monday from dropdown and workshop on checkbox then I’d like to not have other things on schedule hidden, but make those that were searched a border around them? (highlighted)

How is it possible, what extension should be used for that?

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Thanks for sharing that link, I had not seen those tables before. That’s definitely a nice solution and a nice filtering.

However, I can’t really tell you how they have done it. It’s definitely not an existing Extension but seems to be some custom code. Not only are they using sophisticated HTML code in their tables, but also some sophisticated JavaScript code for all of that highlighting and filtering part. Unfortunately, as I don’t know that code, I won’t be able to help with this. You might want to contact them directly, maybe they can share their methods…

    Regards,
    Tobias
