Can I hide specific sections of a page using shortcodes? What I want to achieve is to choose which section is available to certain users and which is not. Every user role would have a different set of components&sections available on a homepage. I don’t want to use posts at all and I can’t achieve it in any text editor. E.g. while editing my homepage wth customizer I select component I want to display on the page like featuers, portfolio etc. and I would like to hide some of those components from not logged in users and from a few user roles. This way every user would see different content on homepage. Is it possible with Ultimate Member plugin? Or maybe the plugin allows to create different homepages in some other way?

    Hello,
Thank you for your response. I’ve already seen that and it isn’t helpful or maybe I just don’t understand it correctly. I can only write short codes in posts and section that has some sort of text editors, right? How am I suppose to hide a specific section that isn’t part of a post? I tried to write short codes in standard wordpress editor but some parts of the page were uneditable. In the showed example you presented there’s only a text hidden. Please explain it to me, perhaps I just don’t understand it.

    Hi @lsmeggy

Sorry for the late response. Have you tried rendering the shortcode with do_shortcode function to make it work outside the Post/Loop?

Please feel free to re-open this thread if there’s any question that may come up.

    Regards,
