Hide unapproved comments from contributor (user)

Sorry! if this topic is duplicated, spent many hours but couldn’t get any help.
Wordpress version: 3.4.1
My website users (contributor role) can see the comments balloon in the top brown bar and the number of comments awaiting for moderation.

I want to stop users to see comments from the comments page, because in the comments page there is a list of comments both approved and unapproved. The ones which is awaiting for approval can be spam and I don’t want my users to see it.
I also installed “Capability Manager” plugin and in it’s settings the “moderate comments” check box is unchecked but still the contributor can see unapproved comments.
