Hide backend link not working!

    Hello,

    After i set the new URL to log in using “Hide backend feature” I tested the link, but it won’t show the login page! instead just the home page! luckily I didn’t logout, so I disabled it.

    PS: I’m using “WP Maintenance Mode” plugin and it’s active.

    Hey Vrom,

    It sounds like you might have Away Mode enabled. Navigate to wp-content > uploads > themes-security via (S)FTP and delete the itsec_away.confg file, if there is one. Note that after doing this you’ll need to reset the Away Mode setting.

    I cheeked the settings, it’s not enabled, and there is no file itsec_away.confg.

    Hey Vrom,

    Could you try dialing the maintenance mode plugin and see if that helps?

    Unfortunately, the problem is back again! I’m now locked out of my website!

    I tried deleting the htaccess file, and use the back up, but didn’t work, so I disabled the plugin by renaming the file directory, now the /wp-admin/ login page back again.

    I checked the server logs but failed to find any reasons for this problem.

    Hey Vrom,

    What did it do when it locked you out? Error message, redirect or something else?

    If it was a redirect to the home page it might have been away mode.
