Help with upgrade

    hi,

    I have updated my forums, and so many other things that I can’t get my mind around the latest upgrade. Could someone help me upgrade my blog?

    It was set up about a year ago, and has 2 sub blogs which are the latest.

    I looked at the page source and it says wordpress 2.6.

    1. Download latest version, then extract it.
    2. Use FTP client (firezilla) to login to your web server.
    3. Follow this instruction.

    that is why I asked for help…

    I tried it again, deactivated my plugins and…

    and 2. down……?????

    notes and taking care – I don’t have a clue how to do this stuff, and this is my main blog so I don’t want to destroy or loose my images, settings and sign-in information..

    I am computer competent and can follow instructions easily, if someone would help by talking me thought the steps one by one… live online..

    If automatic update doesn’t work, you should follow Three Step Manual Upgrade
