help with setting permissions (easy enough?)

I am using “user meta” plugin for 3 separate registration pages.

1. golfer (regular social account / bp)
2. golf course (aloud to post listings but pay per post /monthly)
3. golf business (products etc)

I have figured out how to create the 3 pages and with that , set the specified roles.

the problem now is, how exactly do I go abouts setting proper permissions to allow say, a “golf course” role user to be aloud to post/edit and use this plugin (geodirectory) as basic user (not admin)

I’ve tried several options, nothing seems to work! I set permissions with ‘role editor plugin’ but for some reason even if permission is set I cannot access the link to setup new listing signed into one of these accounts (with golf course role)
+it just redirects me instantly to the home page (the link works fine as admin though)
