help with alterations and errors

Hi All,

(I am a novice wordpress site builder so please keep instructions basic)

I have built a site: http://www.ravenwoodservices.net

I am wanting to do a few things:

1) Change the red line and border around search facility to blue (at top of site)
2) Correct slider heading issue – some are white and some you cant see
3) I want to hide the small business theme categories, archives, meta info and post previews below the feature slider (so it looks more like a website than a blog site)
4) When clicking on a slide feature eg: dry verge it looks a bit messy. I would like to have the text below the feature image and possibly an extra space after the text before the tags.
5) There is a quote just above the footer I wouldlike to align central.
6) I am assuming there is no way to hide tags on posts?

If anyone can help I will be eternally grateful. Full of hayfever too so would cheer me up… been plodding through thi all day!
