* I’m afraid I don’t log into other people’s site in the context of free support
* Do you (or your hoster) have page cache? If so; have you cleared that?
* Can you share the URL of your site so I can have a look at what is going on?
frank
thx for the quick response
i tried to force a cdn of jquery and if you are logged in it works….??…
but in both cases its not working if i dont force external cdn
the site is https://powercrowd.eu
in console SyntaxError: expected expression, got ‘=’ error even if it works(logged in)
ok now it works on not logged to im playng with the checkboxed to undestand what breaks
in Autoptimize you mean? start with the default settings; “optimize JS”, “aggregate JS” and exclude js/jquery/jquery.js.
Re. the SyntaxError: expected expression, got '=' that is actually coming from js/jquery/jquery.js (so the version of jquery bundled with wordpress core), no idea what is going on there :-/
I’ve had a look at https://www.powercrowd.eu/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js and it does look … off and different from the jquery on my site (although I’m already at WordPress 5.0 and you are not I think). Try overwriting your jquery.js with the one from a fresh downloaded WordPress zip-file maybe?
ok now its working fine im still scare of clicking an option hoping in a better score and then crashing the site but thx a lot for the help ithink i will keep it like this
have a nice day
and thx again π
happy it works. and don’t chase rainbows, there isn’t always gold at the end of them π
feel free to leave a review of the plugin and support here! π
