Help. Fatal error at Login.

Receiving this message upon login:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp_add_dashboard_widget() in /home/trhou2/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-events/wp-events-widget.php on line 37

Any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. Or if someone else has had a similar issue if you could refer to their post. This is beyond my limited understanding. Thank you.
