I am currently working with a one page responsive theme:

I would like to embed a sign up form above the fold as seen in these two examples:

http://www.marieforleo.com/
http://jadahsellner.com/

Both options (below main pic or on top) work, but I’m not sure how to accomplish this.

If you want the form to hover over your page, like it does on Marie Forleo’s site, the List Builder tool from SumoMe is an excellent option. You can find out more about it here:

If you’d rather put the form on the page itself, the Fast Secure Contact Form plugin works really well. More info on that here:
