What are you putting in the site address field? Should be just the slug / name.
You should be putting only a name like “mysite”. Adding the .org is what is making the error message appear.
That’s why.
If you want a full domain name, you need to use a plugin. New sites are in the format mysite.yourdomain.com or yourdomain.com/mysite/. And you only type in the “mysite” part. You still need to do this even if you eventually want mysite.org.

talk to your webhost, you need to have wildcards enabled in a apache too.
domain mapping was already installed.
after the cration of my site, i’m attempting to connect to the mainboard of mysite.mydomain.com but the page doesnt exist, whats the problem ? is there something to do before ?
before you use domain mapping, you have to make sure mysite.mydomain.com actually works. Did you read the instructions about wildcard subdomains?

ok i added the wildcard in apache but i tested to visit “test.mydomain.com” in my browser and it doesnt work…

i create the site from dashboard
but still dont work…
my other sites appears like :www.site.com
but wich i created appears like :www.site.mydomain.com
in the “my sites” windows
when i click on another sites its always asked me to enter the admin password too
You cannot do domain mapping until you get the sub sites to work properly.

BUt still… you can’t import yet. Don’t even think about it.
You need the wildcard subdomains working first, because you have to set up penchihes.xavier.ws first. And it HAS to work before you can do anything else.
Your webhost has to support wildcard sudomains. Did you ask them?
