Help adding text to menu

I’m trying to put this in my menu using this in custom links block:
URL: #ads-loginout#
Link Text: Member Login;Log out

But when I set up the menu item that way, the text does not change but rather is still “Sign In” and “Sign Out”.
How can I get the text to change?
