  • I have a site on a server running plesk as a backend user interface and the directory is ‘httpdocs’ so at least that bit is consistent. I’ve never actually installed or configured Plesk though so it may be possible to set it up very differently. What is your url?

When you purchased your domain name, did you change its DNS settings (your web host should have given you that information)?

    Who is your webhost?

web host is simply mail solutions running a genx server with plesk

how do i change the DNS settings of my domain name

    1. Ask your host where you installed WordPress for their name servers.
    2. Visit the domain register company you purchased your domain name and update the name servers to point to the name server from Step 1.
    3. Wait 2-48 hours for that info to update to servers around the world.

If all else fails, call your hosting company.
