I’m using the Duster theme by Automatic. I really like it so far, except… I can’t get images to post on the home page with my posts. The blog I run really relies on these visuals and I’m so frustrated.

Are their any suggestions to fix this? The posts down the page have images, for some reason, but the first three cut the posts out. It doesn’t matter if I have the setting on full post or excerpt.

I’m sure there is a simple solution–I just don’t know it.

  • Have you review your php.ini file to see if the image/size allow > 2MB? or any image size restriction?

I’ll give it a try once you tell me where the php.ini is? I really appreciate your help.

    I have a php. images?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi all,

thanks for the suggestions. I deactivated all the plugins. Switched to Twenty Eleven–still had no images in the first few posts. Reset the plugins folder and, then, deleted all the plugins to no avail.

    I’m stumped.

I’m such a dork. I had switched my posts to “gallery” a few posts back and didn’t notice every post since wasn’t standard.

All fixed! Sorry for taking up your time.

Glad you figured it out. php.ini is PHP configuratin file, normally, it is located in /etc (/etc/php.ini) directory on a Linux system.
