• I am wondering why the text overlay in my header is shoved to the right when viewing in ie version 8. The the theme is Flexx. Please see http://17waystomakemoney.com

I would like to change this manually so if you can possibly tell me what code to modify that would be good. Below is my header.php code. Let me know what else you would need to look at to determine the issue.

Could you please be more specific than “You’ve got a bad URL for your header image; check the link in the wordpress editor.” A moderator told me this, but I need a little more specific intruction on what exactly to do? Below is header.php file code. Let me know if an additional file will help you assist me with this issue. And thanks so much!

  • Please don’t post huge chunks of code here. For larger blocks of code, use the WordPress pastebin and post the pastebin url here. It makes life easier for everyone.

As it is, I can’t see any difference in your header when viewed with Firefox 3 and IE8.

ok..will do. Isn’t the text (on the header) shoved to the right when viewing on IE8?

Not on my machine. Remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing an updated page/site. Or try emptying your browser cache. This should ensure that your web browser fetches a fresh copy of the page rather than serving up an out-dated copy from your own cache.
