Header not working

    Hi, I’m a beginner at WordPress and I’m trying to use the Aadya-theme but I can’t seem to be able to use my own header. I’ve tried 2 different ways to go about it:
    1. Appearance – Themes – Aadya – Customize. Then uploaded my picture (960×250 pixels) and save. I can se the uploaded header-image in my WordPress-installation but not on the site.
    2. Appearance – Header. Doing the same thing but with the same lack of result.
    3. Appearance – Theme Options – Basic settings. Then upload and choose image, choose no repeat, align top-left and fixed in place. With the same result.
    What am I doing wrong? Should I change another setting to display my header?

    Appearance -> Customize
    There is one check box to display header text. Please make sure its checked.

    Let me know if this works for you.

    But I just want the headerimg, not the text. Do I still have to check it?

    Doesn’t work anyway 🙁
    I’ve uploaded a header with dimensions 960×250 pxl as instructed in the theme, but it doesn’t show with header text checked och unchecked 🙁

    Not working for me either with all above mentioned methods. I’m building on a local environment. Anyone get it to work?

    Same problem here. Also working on localhost.

    The sliders are also not appearing.

    I think this theme is outdated now, as it does not display header, menus and slider. Author appears to have abandoned the theme at this time. It was a nice theme, not as well known as some, but worked well for some of my websites prior to WordPress 4.x updates.

    Revising my original comment slightly. You need to make sure you watch the youtube video on how to set this up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WUlRZXILnY#t=27

    Still not sure the author is keeping up support for this theme. The documentation for this theme could be better, and there are some features for customizing fonts and menus that would really help it be better IMO.
