    Hi there,
I installed WordPress once again (I already installed several other Versions, so basically I know, what to do πŸ˜‰ ). But this time, I can’t get rid of the “Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by” Message, when I try to log in.
I used a totally fresh version, i deleted every whitespace, i even wrote the whole wp-config.php in one line. I even used a wp-config from another blog, which is working perfectly fine on that one, edited it with the new details and uploaded it.
But I always get the same error, as you can see here: http://wp25.world-of-mo.de/wp-login.php
I’m quite sure, there is no more whitespace left.
Also I tried different Editors, from Notepad till Dreamweaver CS3. And I always get the same problem.
    Help?

  • you make it sound like there’s something in between notepad and dreamweaver… what else did you try?

how about you start with a FRESH file, not the same wp-config.php, and open it in wordpad (not notepad, not anything else).

I also used the PSPad editor, which works fine on all my other wordpress related tasks. Ok, but that worked. I tried a new copy with WordPad MFC (which I never used) and it worked.
    Sorry for bothering, thanks Ivovic.

    no worries πŸ™‚

the problem is usually the encoding of the document, so you can’t see the crud that’s actually there…

For anyone else reading this, no matter how clean you think the file is, if you’re getting that error the crud *is* there, so just start with a fresh file.
