I think it must be an end user problem. On FF and IE it looks fine to me.

Thanks Jennifer. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at it.
If anyone else has any thoughts, I’m grateful to receive them.
Thanks again.

Wonder what res that user is browsing at? Though it looks just fine set down to 800×600 – and with the browser window munched down to practically nothing, it’s still fine, you just get scrollbars.
What browser is heesh using? Oh, sorry, don’t have any way to check it at 640×480 – none of my screens go that low, not even my laptop (and the old laptop that would is loaned out right now).

What a good thought vkaryl – I will check with him and ask that question.
Many thanks for your thoughts!

Post script – the user is having the problem in both AOL (shudder!) and IE. I just sent him instructions on how to clear all his temporary internet files, close the browser, restart and review.
If anyone has other thoughts, please share them! I can’t duplicate his issue.
Thanks again everyone.

2 users have expressed an issue with the display being wrong. Both are running IE 6.0 on older computers that run Windows ME. Both have 800 x 600 resolution. How could Windows ME impact the display? I’m so perplexed.
Thanks again for reading and sharing any thoughts.

Well, hard to say, Nora, but the fact that only two people have the situation, it’s the same situation with both of them, and they both have WinME – pretty good clue that it’s something to do with that particular piece of MS idiocy.
They might try upgrading to the latest IE distro that will work with their OS – if there is one available. It would be SAFER for them to upgrade to Firefox, all things considered, though! IE on ME is probably one of the wonkiest windows machine/browser configs out there…. If they’ve already got the latest build, then I haven’t anything else to offer.
