What WP folder should the header image, spacer gif and navbar jpg for my blog go?
Right now it is looking the way it use to on the old server, less the header image, spacer gif and navbar jpg.

its not.
to answer your question, it goes inside /blog/images

How come I can’t correct some of the code in the header.php in the admin?
It says at the bottom:
If this file were writable you could edit it.

I have that image in every blog image folder in my server, so I don’t know why it is not showing it.

You dont currently have it where it needs to be to show up there.
If you do not want to read the solution given via the the search link I provided, then you need to download header.php to your computer, edit it locally, and re-upload the changed file.

I am not a programmer, but know enough to dig around. This forum has always bummed me out, because everyone talks down to you, expecting you to be a WP guru. Well I’m not! And just want some direction without any hassle.

Where is the php header on my server, or is it?
Im not talking down to you, however I’m sorry, but I do expect you to read links that provide solutions. And I dont believe youve been hassled. My explaining over and over again what has already been explained too many times to count is a waste of my time (to be honest), since the solution already exists and you can read it quicker than I can write it.
Its header.php NOT php header, and IF it exists, its within your theme ‘s directory. Since I do not have access to your site, I can only provide this

Thats the URL to your current theme’s directory. Where is is on your server is prolly (but might NOT be) here:
/public-html/blog/wp-content/themes/perform-better-golf
Between the two of you, it looks like it’s fixed, and it looks great! trentp, it’s not a bad idea to follow whooami’s guidance, because it can only help you if you ever have problems like this again 😉
