Having two post pages

You really can’t publish a post and tell it what page on which to to appear. You can use something like categories to separate the two.

At the simplest you can use something like Advanced Category Excluder or Custom Query String Reloaded to exclude categories from appearing on certain pages.

You can also create templates that show posts belonging to certain categories using the template tag, query_posts().

i created a postpage.php but it shows the posts from the main page(index.php) but i want to write a seperate post for the pages not the posts on home page. Please can anybody help.
