Hello @qualalbatroz,
Thanks for your inquiry.
Dear friend with Hashtag feeds no matter in pro or free version our plugin gathers all public feeds, unless you set the condition to bring only the ones related to your account.
I have searched that hashtag and it brought only those 2 that are appearing on your site, please see the screenshot https://nimb.ws/Vcb8Hj.
Thanks for your reply. meanwhile I figured out that it just took a while for the plugin to update the images.
Meanwhile there are two more images with that hashtag on Instagram. and The site still shows the same two. Does the Plugin update automatically, or do I have to do something in settings?
thanks.
M.
I’ve just checked again and there are still just two of the 4 insta-images showing on my site. I just updated the feed from the backoffice, but no change.
How to I update the feed to load the 4 images that have #apraticadorisco on insta?
Thanks,
Marc
Dear @qualalbatroz,
In Instagram feed > settings > advanced section there is an option Check for new posts every (min) and here you specify the minutes of checking for the new posts. We do not recommend writing a small number here, because the many requests it sends for getting new data the higher impact it has on the speed of your site.
As for the feed, now I see 3 images in your feed and when I search Instagram I see only those 3 images with that hashtag, can you please send me a direct link to the Instagram post that does not appear in your list?
Thanks for your reply Zhanna.
The settings link is great. that helps me understand the plugin.
I am missing these images:
https://www.instagram.com/p/CAhuCNfJeMgFoJpalTv4JpGMSW6YcJq-3HSdHs0/
https://www.instagram.com/p/CAhtwZNJcB7uxKpuydwhnJQFlTS2isjuoNECYE0/
But now I see that they are not in the “Top” They need more likes. Would checking “Recent” in stead of top solve this? They aren’t very recent any more…
See. I’m a drawing teacher and due to things I’m now giving online classes. this way my students can show their drawings on my website. It’s a cool thing for the students to see their drawings on the official class website.
This app helps me do this. but It’s only working sometimes and for the images I post myself…
I know the Instagram API doesn’t help. I would be helpful to have access to “All” images, not just “Recent” and “Top”
Thank you for all your help.
Marc
Dear Marc,
With your current settings it’ll surely show all the posts.
Thanks for the link, now the issue is clear.
As I told you before Instagram API allows showing only PUBLIC account content, in this case, this account is private, please ask your student to make his account public and the photos will appear on your site.
Please see the screenshot which shows that the account is private https://nimb.ws/san1MS.
To make account public, please follow these easy steps:
Go to your profile, then tap.
Tap Settings.
Tap Privacy and Security.
Tap Account Privacy then tap to toggle public Account on.
Hey Zhanna, thanks for your reply. I now understand how the plugin works. thanks for your time and help.
I will talk to my pupils about this.
Take care.
Marc
Awesome Marc!
Thanks for getting back to me.
