Hamburger menu only header

im trying to create a Hamburger Style Menu only header that goes full width on the site both on mobile or desktop. I’m looking for something along the lines of Mashable.com and Moviepilot.com. The way they have their menu simple slick and as the only thing on the header. I would also like to have the menu drop down in a specific way but that’s for a later time.
I’m currently running:
Genesis Framework and Dynamik Builder Child theme

Other than that my website is pretty bare. It’s the first thing I’m trying to do and the first thing I’m stuck on. I’m pretty knew to WordPress and web building in general. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you know any code snippets or can recommend any plugins or even direct me to a tutorial video so I can do it myself. Thanks guys!
