Hi @dan14
Thanks for reaching out!
We just switched to a CDN provider which on average has reduced latency for all visitors by half. There seems to be an issue with gzip compression, cc.js is decompressed while uc.js is compressed. We are working with them on fixing the issue.
Switch to “manual” blocking mode if the auto-blocking feature is messing your site up.

Hi there
i’ve noticed this issue, too
Gt metrix reports this
Enable compression for the following resources to reduce their transfer size by 87.4KiB (79% reduction).
Compressing https://consent.cookiebot.com/b78309d3-a462-4bd2-a704-dd2701c1a765/cc.js?renew=false&referer=www.WEBSITE.com&culture=IT&dnt=false&forceshow=false&cbid=b78309d3-a462-4bd2-a704-dd2701c1a765&whitelabel=false&brandid=Cookiebot&framework= could save 87.4KiB (79% reduction).
I’ve switched to manual but issue stand still
Thanks!

The compression issue is not related to autoblocking. We are working with the CDN provider to fix the bug, it is currently out of our hands. It should be fixed fairly soon, please have patience.
@dan14 @dharma23
The gzip compression bug on cc.js should now have been resolved.
Feel free to post again if you are still experiencing issues 🙂

Thank you for your reply.
This has just gotten worse. At the beginning it was just https://consent.cookiebot.com that needed to be compressed. Now on top of that also https://consent.cookiebot.com/uc.js needs to be compressed.
Overall this has affected my website loading speed by a significant amount.
Please reply.

I am just updating that one 2 tests I made one of the above urls was compressed and then it got uncompressed again so I am assuming you are still working on it.
Please reply once it got permanently resolved. Ive been using cookiebot for a long time now and I am happy with it, especially after you added the CDN.
