    The free version is very convenient. Great to use for optimizing your images – especially as you are adding them. There are some limitations in the free version as to the size of the image it will optimize, but it’s good to mindful of using images under that limit anyway (I believe 1mg or so).

    With regards to the limit, yes it’s 1mb but keep in mind that this applies to all the thumbnails that will be smushed regardless of original image being larger then that.
