googe sitemap error

I keep getting this error under google webmaster tools.

We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit.

I definitely have the privacy setting set to public under blog, it was on private, but I resubmitted and it did same thing.
