Hi @andyinspire
You can add the player anywhere on your site using shortcode [hmp_player]
This is noted clearly on the main plugin description page here and on the Installation page here
Feel free to post back here should there be anything further I can do to assist.
Maeve
Actually did see that and did but player never showed on site. So using alternative as result. And instructions aren’t clear. Improve FAQ’s and step by step guide would be helpful.
@maevelander, could you give an example of the complete shortchode. For example,
[hmp_player fileurl=”http://blah.com/…”%5D
As Andy already stated, the available information is insufficient.
Hello
I have no idea how to get this player to show up. Please can you offer some simple clear instructions for beginners.
I am typing the following code for my song
[hmp_player = http://www.domainname/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/name of song.mp3]
is this correct? Nothing is showing up just this text?
And what is the ‘Manage Songs’ section for, what does that do?
Some useful instructions for beginners would be a good idea I think
thanks.
Hi Guys, the free version of this plugin only has 1 simple shortcode. Simply add this shortcode to any page/post to show the player:
[hmp_player]
The installation instructions are extremely simple and clearly outlined here -> http://wordpress.org/plugins/html5-jquery-audio-player/installation/
If you are using Pro version then there are different shortcodes for different playlists, and these appear in your Manage Playlists area. See also http://enigmaplugins.com/basic-config-hmp/ and http://enigmaplugins.com/usage/ in the documentation
I have installed the plugin and activated it, but when I insert the [hmp_player] short code in my website, nothing happens,
what’s wrong with it?
