Getting current_page_item into my function

Hi there,

I am creating a custom menu with an added description for each menu item… it is almost perfect, the only problem is that the current menu item isn’t being classed as ‘current_page_item’ and I can’t work out how to get it in there!

If someone can help me, I will be a very happy girl! I just want to add ‘current_page_item’ as a class on the list item that is the current page but have no idea where to start.
