Getting Around Memory Limits

Hi, I need to upload a large RSS file to my blog. I can’t because I”m on a shared server at Host Gator and the file is too big and triggers a PHP error because I go past the 64MB memory limit.

Host Gator suggested I upload the file to my server to get around the script, which was a great idea until I realized the RSS Import Tool in Word Press only lets you load a file directly from your computer.

I was hoping I could FTP the file and access it that way but that option isn’t available.

Is anyone aware of a work around for this?
