get_pages doesn't work on posts page

    Hello,

    I’m using get_pages to retrieve a list of pages that are either the descendants of the current page or the descendants of the current page’s parent page. This works fine on all the pages that aren’t the posts page (theme -> customize -> specify posts page). Deselecting the posts page results in get_pages working as expected once again.

    Is there a workaround to this?
