General question – Newbie
-
Hello all,
I am a fresh WP user and I am very impressed, as a visual designer WP is sort of a God sent…., for folks that don’t have time to learn the code…, as I am a graphic designer and most of my bills are paid by producing a graphic content I never had the time to really draw myself into the coding world and I do regret.
Having a family, kids etc, full time job and halt time home based business
I struggle to accommodate much time to learn new things…
I recently installed WP and used one of the free themes, the process was so cool that I kept myself asking questions why have I not done this before…, and of course I have a small issue, I set up a website http://www.andrewnek.com using a ready theme and the page comes with part blog in every page, now I can accept it for “portfolio” page or a sort of photo content page where people can comment on the artwork etc.., however I get this blog showing right under my contact form in “contact page” and I would like to remove it from that page…,
What is the process in WP is it like HTML ? I was trying to locate the page “contact” in my file structure on the server and look at the code, but as embarrassed as it is I can’t even find the page lol.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could share a tip on how to remove “Comment window” and perhaps give me a brief explanation as where all the code sits for individual pages.thanks,
Andrew.
