    Hi,

We’re updating our GDPR data, and wanted to confirm if Yoast SEO is GDPR compliant?

I’ve read your article at: https://yoast.com/help/gdpr/ In which it’s explained that you collect website data, but not personal data. It’s unclear though as to what information might be distinguished between the two (aside from the obvious such as names, contact info etc). But what about IP addresses, devices used etc? On a similar note, usage tracking is turned off.

Would you mind please clarifying if any data about any individual (regardless of whether it is considered personal or not) is collected by Yoast or any associated partners? And that Yoast itself is GDPR compliant?

    Thank you.

Hello @oriver. Thanks for reaching out. Your website shares some data with us if you turn ON Usage tracking. And you can learn more about the specific data here.

    Hi @maybellyne

Thank you for your email. Would I be correct in understanding that if Usage Tracking is off, you don’t collect data anywhere else through the use of the plugin?

Once Usage Tracking is turned OFF, you no longer share website data with us.
