    Hello,

Recently I have a MySQL database and the interface is phpMyAdmin,

e.g. my username is abc and password is efg
however I got the result [gdoc Error: SQL datasources are disabled.] using

    [gdoc key=”mysql://abc:efg@prefix.domain.com/database” query=”SELECT * From ‘TABLE 1′”]

Anything I am missing to “enable” the datasources?
Thanks very much for your kind help
    best

  • hi, have you enable the SQL functionality in the plugin setting page? it happened to me before but problem solved after i ticked the Allow SQL in shortcode checkbox.

    Cheers.

cwkean87 has the correct answer. 🙂

Further, the author of the post in which you use the SQL datasource in the shortcode must have the special gdoc_query_sql_databases capability. Only the admin users on your site have this capabaility by default, but you can use other role and capability manager plugins to customize which users have which capabilities.

How to enable SQL functionality. I’m the admin
