I initially made my theme on my localhost using xampp and the gallery was working fine there. After releasing it to web the gallery doesn’t show. I made sure to check to check that there were images “uploaded to this post” and there’s three there. However on the property page the images aren’t displaying.

How did you migrate your local installation to the remote web server?

Did you export your database and import it on the remote?

Most likely your issue is that you have urls defined that point to a local path (rather than the remote server).

Might I suggest this tool (USE WITH CAUTION, and backup your database first): https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

This will allow you to search your database tables for local paths.

Take a look at BackupBuddy for migration, backup and restore. We use it all the time to speedily deploy a new site to a live server.
