Front page

I’m working on my wordpress site, but have another site currently at my url that will be replaced. To get around this in wordpress, I made my home page’s url “/home-2” but the page title is “front page”

Under customize-> front page-> front page
When I choose that I want “front page” to be it, I cannot see my “/home-2” anymore- it just goes back to my old, current site’s main page. If I don’t choose anything at all, then I can see my “front page” if I go to “/home-2”

I don’t know if it’s relevant, but I’m suspecting this is why “feature pages options” is not working for me. I have everything filled out, but it’s not showing up on any page.

Any assistance appreciated.
