from example.com/site1 to site1.example.com

I installed wrodpress 3.0, i try to create a network, but i do not know why the worpress create the blog swith the subdomain “example.com/site1 ” – – aber my web hosting create the subdomains “site1.example.com” …

How can i change wrodpress to have the new blogs in this configuration “site1.example.com”?????????????????

You are given the choice between subdomains or subdirectories. This means each additional site in your network will be created as a new virtual subdomain or subdirectory. you have to pick one or the other, and you cannot change this unless you reconfigure your install.

* Subdomains — like site1.example.com and site2.example.com
* Subdirectories — like example.com/site1 and example.com/site2
