Free version is useless

I attempted to use this tool to migrate a WordPress site from one host provider to another. I was able to create an export of the original host, but when I attempted to import it on the new host, it reached 100% an failed with a 504 error.

I followed all of the instructions (modify the .htaccess file, wp-config.php, etc.) as well as PHP settings in cpanel, but it continued to error after timing out at 100%.

I saw video where someone recommended uploading the export file to the “AI1WM backups” folder, which I did, but then when I attempted to restore from it, I was prompted by the author that this feature wasn’t available on the free version.

In the end, I had to backup the WordPress site files and database, then import them on the new host and troubleshoot a few issues/host limitations. What a waste of time! Absolutely worthless. #WouldNotRecommend
