How to add forum functionality to WP site?
maybe there is some kind of plugin or extension to add forum like this one to WP blog

but wp-forum is old and not supported for a long time
bbforum is good but not the thing that I see here

The forums here are a modified verion of bbPress. Currently that is a standalone forum which has integration instructions for integrating with a WordPress install.

Work is currently in progress to change bbPress into a plugin.
